I'm trying to learn how to take portrait pics. Up until now, most of my pics are scenic; they don't include much about pple. Seeing some friend's work on portraits of pple though, I felt like i need to work on that too (besides becoming pro at catching pple's most unflattering moments >:D)
So today, at Cal's 141 anniversary since its foundation, cupcakes were being passed out and i took the chance to stalk some of my friends xD I thought this pic was actually pretty good :] But i don't think most pple will find it comfortable if i put my camera even 1 feet close to their faces hahah. Perhaps my attempts to polish my portrait skills will be futile until i get a more decent camera than my dinky casio exilim. (i love my current camera tho :])

portraiture is my favorite! but it's difficult, especially because people aren't willing :[
