-Went to a cantonese service where my gramps preached in chinese and a lady translated in canto... AND here came the surprise: i met some family friends of Albert Lok with whom he lived while he finished HS in NY… It’s SUCH A SMAAALLLL WORLD!!!! I couldn’t believe it at first bc they told me he goes to IV fellowship. But then they told me that he’s REALLY involved in church, lives with like 20 pple in a house and right now is in tw. Well, without question it is the albert lok in A2F hahah
-talked to gramps in the afternoon and joined their afternoon nap (where i ended up napping more than them…. shame for being almost 60 yrs younger than them… ahahah)
-went to Xmas service by the Riverside church in a huuuuge chapel… which is the source of the pic x] it was soooo beautiful and elegant :]
-went to manhattan to check out the HUGE central park xmas tree… except we got lost for a while and i got yelled at by a security who was paranoid about pple going into the building… i just wanted to ask him if he knew how to get to central park…
Anyhow, NY days have been busy and cold so far x] good thing is it isn’t snowing!! But i have to be rly careful with the icy road around here… it feels like walking on blocks of ice where you can fall on your butt any time =w= hahah
