Day 347 - stop waiting

Having gone to many of my bro's baseball game, i've wondered how do they train little ones to hit... you can't start by throwing baseballs only a bit smaller larger than their clenched fists right?

So, as i went for a walk around the fields in the pouring rain (yup, my bro had a baseball game in the rain which they won!! =D) I discovered a the metal accessory that help little one to start learning to bat. hahah i thought it was very cute :]

As for the title, just wanted to remind myself about another of my long convo with dad. I've always been too passive about doing things. I dutifully finish my academic tasks, faithfully fill up the school curriculum for certain major... and passively wait for opportunities to fall from the sky - almost literally. So far the only bold movement i've made in this two college years was to find me the URAP job at the Museum of Vertebrae and Zoology.

So, what's my lesson? you probably guessed it - the old cliched saying that “You're much better served getting to work today on something than waiting years for the "right opportunity" to come along.”So in one boring phrase: stop waiting.

I think that's something i should keep in mind since im so lazy xD Or, i should just transpose that energy i have to search out for stuff like skydiving onto the academic side of my brain. aiyahhh x]
