Taiwanese decal teaching by interns started really dumb. My intern friend and I decided the night before that we will write out all the phonetics on the board. We were really high spirited since we planned for the teaching for quite a while, and we were excited to see how will the planning result. Half way through writing phonetic numbers on the blackboards, I started to get this really weird feeling: usually people start coming in even before 5pm. It was already getting close to 5:05pm, and the classroom had NOT one single person except the two of us fervently copying lines of seemingly senseless numbers. We took a peek outside the door... turns out, both of us got into the wrong classroom. Our real classroom was next door...Anyhow, the teaching seem to be pretty good despite the embarrassing start. Student seemed to respond well, and I look forward to planning more stuff for the second time we have to teach.
Tonite, actually, there was another crazy moment: our volleyball game got switched to an hour early somehow during last night, and NO ONE knew until about half an hour before the game. Pple start calling crazily.. but i didn't get my call 'till 9:50pm. I sprinted from U2 towards RSF, through the dark humid night, up the stairts, and slammed through the Blue Gym door only to find out the game will be delayed. Many didn't come till after 10pm... Luckily, we actually all got there before the delayed game started. Our last person came rushing in straight from orchestra, right before we served the 1st ball hahah.
The weather is cooling down btw :] The pic is my sizzling bottle of coke. I dropped it on my trip to do laundry... and it "exploded" on me when i opened the cap to check it >:/
